    During his military service in the Royal Greek Navy, at the naval base of the isle of Salamis, the company's founder Ioannis M. Maltezos was taught the craftsmanship of boiler making and steel works.

    Thereafter, he decided upon capitalizing on those skills taught so as to pursue a profession for himself. Consequently, in 1930 he joined forces with his brother, Panagiotis, and went ahead to lease suitable premises in order to commence trading. As a result, they set up one of the very first steel-workshops in the Port of Piraeus constructing and servicing heavy-duty boiler units, cater for both the land and the maritime industries.





    In 1970, the workshop was passed on to the second generation and in particular to Panagiotis I. Maltezos, Ioannis' son, a qualified merchant marine engineer who had both the academic knowledge alongside the hands on experience since he was involved in the family business for a number of years accumulating the essential know-how.

    As soon as Panagiotis took over the business from his father and uncle, his immediate intension was to form a company and explore the possibilities of expanding the business. In view of that, he decided to enhance the production gamma by adding to it the construction and repair works of steam generators and oil boilers.

    Furthermore, he went on to purchase the premises and renovate the existing workshop making it at first into a two stories building. Nowadays, the company's headquarters, production halls and warehouses are located in a newly built seven stories building raised at that very same spot where all have started so many years ago.

     

    The company intents to provide the clientele with complete product solutions, as well as a number of satisfactory after sales services in accordance to the existing Rules and Regulations in effect.

    By achieving total customer satisfaction the company will be elevated to a higher market standing and accomplish the principal aim of being the market leader.

    In order to perform so the company has invested in both human resources management as well as a range of new technologies that will assist in the production procedures enhancement resulting in product development.

    Moreover, the Management has recently built a new development complex comprises of showrooms and storage space in order to accommodate complete steam production systems, so as the potential clients by visiting on site are able to choose the most adequate system servicing their needs.
